Did you know that we live in Abu Dhabi now?  We have been here for eight months and Bill's project, a soil survey of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is scheduled for completion in October 2009.  Then we will buy our 'next boat' which will be bigger (and better? - a big ask!) than Periwinkle! 

We are based in the city (along with several others) but will spend Christmas evening in Sweihan about 150Kms away with Bill's field teams.  I'm looking forward to it - Christmas in the desert with a bunch of Muslims from Ethiopia, the Sudan and India.

Meantime, we've been following Quindalup preparations and can imagine the fun you are having -and will have.  Please pass on our Christmas wishes and news to all the longstanding cruisers who remember us.
