This is the 25th Quindalup Cruise
This year's theme is the letter "Q". Yep, that's it, the letter "Q". You could do anything with that, so pull out the dictionary and get your thinking cap on.

So, what's Quindalup about?
This major social event kicks off on the 26th December. The cruise
provides a great opportunity to have a good time in company and to
enjoy beautiful Quindalup.
The event is for all vessels, both
sail and power. It is widely publicised amongst all Perth clubs and
normally attracts a large and varied fleet. If you have not been down
the coast this far before there is a buddy system to draw on to make
the trip more enjoyable. The trip down is taken in three bites with
sociable overnight 'stop-overs' in Mandurah and Bunbury.
The stay in Quindalup provides a series of arranged events including:
- an "icebreaker" progressive lunch (the Cruising Section is rightly famous for its progressive lunches and dinners!)
- a
"garden party" at the specially convened Quindalup Yacht Club (don't
look for the club on any map, or in your phone book - this is a
Quindalup Cruise special)
- a special regatta day with competitions, prizes, boat-dressing and talent events.
- special daily happenings for children (if any) and grown-ups.
The
social program events occur daily from the start of the cruise until
3rd January. The final day of the cruise itself is on 6th January. The
return trip is made on an 'as-you-please' basis, with a buddy, in
company or solo.
As part of the tradition of Quindalup the club
contributes to the Legacy Camp by encouraging Quindalup Cruisers to
take children of deceased service men and woman on a day trip on their
vessels. The Legacy Camp cruise will be on the 5th of January, 2007.
