Those who've been to a Progressive Dinner before will have signed up already by the time you read this, they are that much fun!

How does it work?
  • The dinner consists of 3 courses, each consumed on a different boat.
  • You will have 4 or 6 visitors to your boat for one course (you choose the course and the number of guests).
  • You will visit two other boats for the other two courses.
  • Everyone finishes up in the Clubhouse for coffee and chocolates.
  • We all sleep on our boats and go to "Treasures of the Bilge" the following morning.

The aim of the exercise is to have fun, meet other cruisers and see other cruisers' boats, not to dazzle your guests with your culinary expertise.  So don't be intimidated if you're not the world's greatest cook, just keep your course simple.

The Progressive Dinner starts in the Clubhouse where we are each given a piece of paper that tells us who is visiting our boat for the course we're hosting, and which boats we're going to for the other two courses.  Then it's off to the jetties in search of new boats, new friends, shared tales and laughs.

There's a sign-up sheet on the Cruising Section notice board now.  Don't be shy, don't delay, sign up today!
