Subscribe to the FSC Cruising email database

After adding your details to the FSC Cruising Section email database, you can expect to receive occasional emails about matters of interest to cruisers. These include:

eLerts

eLerts are brief, single-subject emails sent to cruisers to remind and/or inform them of upcoming events (Topics Nights, social events, cruises etc.) or other information with a high level of importance or interest to cruisers. On average, there are 1-2 eLerts sent out each month.

eNews

The eNews is a longer, electronic newsletter containing information about upcoming events, items of interest to cruisers (technical, navigation etc.), classifieds, crews available/wanted, gossip about fellow cruisers on interesting voyages, etc. On average, the eNews comes out once every couple of months.

Because many of our subscribers have limited internet connections (HF Modem etc), both eLerts and eNews are in a simple text format to ensure they are as compact as possible. If you want the glossy, pictorial version, then this website is where you need to be!

Your name (Required)

If you sail with your partner/spouse, feel free to include both your names, unless you're doing a separate subscription for each partner

Your email address (Required)

If you wish to subscribe with more than one email address (eg a home and a work address, or if both partners wish to subscribe separately) please complete a separate subscription for each

Your boat name

If you have a boat, please provide the name. If not, please leave this field blank. If you are acquiring a boat but don't have it in FSC yet, put the name here anyway and describe your circumstances in the Comments field below

Your club membership (Required)

Please indicate which club you are a member of (or, if you're a member of more than one club, which one you consider your primary club). If you're not a member of any club, select "None".

Your home phone number

phone numbers help us contact you with last-minute changes to cruises, if your email address starts bouncing etc. This field is optional, but it helps us if you provide the number. If it is a silent number, please indicate that in the comments section.

Your mobile phone number

As for home phone number, this field is optional, but mobile phone numbers can be helpful for contacting you during cruises if your radio is not working, or we need to discuss something without sharing it with the rest of the world!

Comments (Required)

After completing the details above, click the "Subscribe" button. Your subscription will usually be acknowledged by email within a day or so, unless I'm away on a cruise!
