FSC Cruising Section email database

FSC Cruising Section maintains its own database of Cruiser contact details to enable us to communicate with people interested in Cruising.  Although most people on the database are present or past members of the Fremantle Sailing Club, subscription to our database is not limited to FSC members.

Communications

Our main forms of communication are:

eLert

An eLert is an email sent as required to remind a cruiser of an upcoming event (Cruise, Topics Night, Social event) or to advise about an issue we believe to be of importance or high interest to a Cruiser.  On average, eLerts are sent out once or twice a month.

eNews

The eNews is an email newsletter sent episodically (currently about bi-monthly) containing news items of interest to cruisers.  It includes information about upcoming FSC Cruising events, technical issues, navigational issues and news of fellow cruisers. 

Because many of our subscribers often have very limited bandwidth (eg HF Modems, dialup etc), we endeavour to keep our emails small (no photos or fancy print) and we try not to send them too frequently.
